Who we are

AgadirCar is an independent travel guide to renting a car in Agadir, Morocco. This site does not itself rent vehicles — we publish guides and comparisons and link visitors to third-party rental companies when they choose to book.

What data we collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate the site and understand which content is helpful to our readers:

• Analytics data — anonymised traffic information (pages visited, time on page, approximate location by country, device type) via Google Analytics 4, loaded only after you give consent.
• Booking widget inputs — the pick-up date, drop-off date and vehicle type you enter are passed as URL parameters to our rental partner. We do not store them.
• Consent preference — your cookie choice is stored in your browser’s local storage so we can respect it on your next visit.

Legal basis (GDPR & loi 09-08)

Analytics cookies are loaded only with your explicit consent, as required by both the GDPR (Article 6 (1)(a)) and Morocco’s loi 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data. Essential functionality (navigation, security) is processed under our legitimate interest and does not require consent.

Google Analytics and Consent Mode

We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 with Consent Mode v2. By default, analytics and advertising storage are set to denied. No analytics cookies are written and no personal data is sent to Google until you click “Accept all” in our cookie banner.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your data, and to withdraw consent at any time by clicking “Cookie settings” in the footer. To exercise these rights or to file a complaint with the Moroccan data protection authority (CNDP), please contact us via the address on our about page.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be indicated at the top of this page with a revised date.
